Description
Mattice, Janet. B/W photo of Janet Mattice. The 1860 Oshawa Township census lists Janet Mattice (age 11, born in Canada) as a daughter of farmer John Mattice (age 38, born in Canada) and his wife, Elizabeth Mattice (age 39, born in Canada). The first name that is written on the front of the photo is difficult to read. It appears to be something other than Janet, but census records suggest that Janet may be the correct name.Related People and Organizations
