Description

Tea length white satin dress with short , slightly puffy crepe fabric sleeves. A gusset of crepe has been hand-stitched across the v-neckline at the back and is torn and partially missing. Rounded neckline in the front. Flared skirt at the knee. Double needle stitching in a V shape every 2" from the waist to knee, then double needle stitching at about 3" from hem to knee. Side opening with snaps for closure. Buttons missing from narrow sleeve cuffs. Right sleeve is badly deteriorating. Circa 1920s.
