Tegner, Gordon. B/W photo of Gordon Tegner as a very small child. A note on the back of the photo reads as follows: "(Our son - C. E.'s & mine)." A note on the back of another photo, E6914, reads as follows: "Charles Tegner, husband of Olivia" and "father of Burton & Gordon Tegner." Marriage records show that Olivia J. Peterson married Charles E. Tegner in Nicollet County on October 19, 1901. Gordon was listed as being four years old in the 1910 St. Peter census. From the label on E6917, it is clear that Olivia Peterson Tegner also wrote the labels for many other photos that show members of the Tegner family. Census records, marriage records, obituaries, and the Find A Grave website show that the Tegner family included Peter Magnus (1839 to 1917), Ingri (or Engri, 1842 to 1906), Hilda (age 11 in 1875), John (age 9 in 1875, most likely John Adolph, 1867 to 1897), August (or Gus, age 7 in 1875), Carl (or Charles E., age 5 in 1875), Mary (age 4, in 1875), Anna (age 1 in 1875), and Anton (died in 1907 at the age of 29). They lived in New Sweden Township.
