Slide 8 Beams in old Grist Mill
Some of the old beams from the Wheleer brothers sawmill are seen, on the second floor of the mill. This is now used as a factory for church furniture, but the old holes in the floors mark the location of the mill pipes, and outlet pipes from the mill pond carry water through the mill basement. Note the size of these beams, and also the old telephone box.
