Description
Four decoy parts have cord, lead sinker, and prolonged metal piece used for insertion into mud or sand to hold live ducks in place to attract wild ducks to the hunters. A ring at the end of the cord has a hook and eye which was fastened around the decoy duck's neck. Fortunately, this device was outlawed and replaced with other devices such as telescopic sights on guns, etc. They are in good condition and were given by the son of "Tuff" Robards, a mighty hunter in this area in the early 1900s.
