Districts 46 and 65. B/W photo of students from the District 46 School and the District 65 School during the 1921 to 1922 school year. The District 46 teacher was Gina Roise. Hazel Larson (the future Mrs. Hazel Bjorklund) was the District 65 teacher. Both schools were in New Sweden Township. The District 46 School was also known as the Ostrom School. The District 65 School was also known as the Abrahamson School. The information quoted below is on the back of the NCHS worksheet for photo E3084.

"In the spring of 1922, the pupils of Dist. 46 were invited to come to District 65 for an afternoon of fun and games. The highlight was the exciting ride in the box of Maynard Sandeen's Reo truck. Who needed a school bus? Maynard used this truck to haul the tubs of premium butter from the New Sweden Creamery to the depot in St. Peter. The teacher was Gena Roise of Madison, Minn. The teacher in Dist. 65 might have been Cordelia Brinkman."

The District 65 School teacher was actually Hazel Larson, the future Hazel Bjorklund.
