North Mankato Aerial Photo. Color aerial photo of almost all of North Mankato, as well as portions of the business district in Mankato. The old Main Street Bridge/Belgrade Avenue Bridge connecting Mankato and North Mankato is in the lower left quadrant. The Hubbard Milling Company grain elevators in Mankato are clearly visible along the east side of the Minnesota River in the lower right quadrant of the slide. The bluffs on the west side of lower North Mankato are also clearly visible, and there are few, if any, structures on the flat land above lower North Mankato. Spring Lake is also shown. In Mankato, the railroad depot and the Saulpaugh Hotel are visible in the lower left quadrant, to the left of the river bridge. This slide is stamped "Apr 58."
