Title
Elizabeth Altmann and Theresia BrunnerDescription
Altmann and Brunner. B/W photo of Elizabeth Altmann (the former Elizabeth Hellmer, b. 2-2-1868, d. 2-20-1960) and Theresia Brunner (the former Theresia Hellmer, b. 10-8-1866, d. 7-22-1932).
The 1900 West Newton Township census lists Rubert Altmann (seen elsewhere as "Robert" and "Rupert") and his wife, Elisabeth (born ca. 1868 in Bohemia). The Find A Grave website has much information about Elizabeth Altmann and her family. She was buried in the St. George Catholic cemetery.
The woman on the right side of the photo may be Elizabeth's sister, Theresia Hellmer, who married John Martin Brunner on 6-24-1890 in Nicollet County. See the Find A Grave website for much information about Theresia and her family. She was buried in St. Andrew's Catholic cemetery in Fairfax.
