This photo was taken in July of 2010. It includes the Erbert & Gerbert's sandwich shop at 224 South Minnesota Avenue) in the former Nicollet County Bank building, Julee's Jewelry shop at 222 South Minnesota Avenue, and other businesses. This part of Minnesota Avenue was renovated during the summer of 2010, partially funded with $16.5 million of 'stimulus' funds from the federal government to stimulate the economy during a recession began at the end of 2008.
