Description
This book researched and compiled by Leland G. Pederson in 1997 is an account of immigrants who came from an area in Norway called Valdres and settled in Pope County, Minnesota, to farm, and then kept the farm in the family for at least three generations. This book describes the six Norwegian church parishes the emigrants came from and where they settled in Pope County. The families are listed by the township location of their farms.
