1954 Anoka Halloween pinback button. It has an orange border with black lettering: "Anoka, Minnesota Halloween Capital of the World". The central area of the button is black with an orange jack-o'-lantern wearing a football helmet and the text: "Pumpkin Bowl '32nd' of Oct. '54 (Monday) Halloween Hop". In years where the Pumpkin Bowl game or other Anoka Halloween activities fell on November 1, it would often be referred to as October 32nd to keep in the Halloween spirit for an extra day.Related People and Organizations
