Description
This gold knit letterman's cardigan sweater from Howard Lake, Minnesota has 6 buttons down the front. It has two knit pockets on each side of the lower front. There is a two inch knit plaquette around the collar and down the front where the buttons are attached and the buttonholes are sewn. There are 6 gold 7/8 inch buttons, each with 2 holes. On the left front there is a large navy blue H attached just above the pocket. Attached to the center of the H is 1 ½ inch metal football. On the left sleeve, there is a ½ inch navy blue stripe knitted into the upper part of the sleeve. At the ends of each sleeve, 3 12 inches have a tighter knit forming a cuff. The hem of the sweater is turned up for 1 ¼ inches to form a finished edge. Inside of the right plaquette is a 1" x 3 ⅓ “ felt strip with dark blue cursive writing reading, ”Bill Strache". On the inside of the neckline is a label reading, “Selson Sportswear, Duluth, Minn.”
