Description
White ashtray with brown text and images. In the center is an image of the Minneapolis Club with the words "Minneapolis Club" printed on the top of the inside rim and the word "Minneapolis" printed on the bottom. Each corner has three indentations wherein cigarettes can be placed. The maker's mark on the back if for Denver M. Wright Jr. Co. in St. Louis, MO. The Minneapolis Club is a private club, established in 1883 civic leaders. Founding members included John Pillsbury and Charles Loring. The club changed locations many times in its early years, but has been at its present location at 729 Second Avenue South since 1909.
