Description

Chinese fixed hand fan made of straw. The handle is straw and extends to the top edge of the fan while the rest of the fan body extends horizontally from the center of the handle. The edge is woven. Tissue paper is inserted between the layers of straw. The fan was purchased by Amy DeGroodt of Excelsior, Minnesota from Dayton's Store in Minneapolis in 1941. The fan was made in China.
