Description

Woven hand fan with fibrous edge. Black and tan lines at the diamond-shaped woven center is woven around a stick that acts as the base for the handle which is covered in woven material like the main fan body. The fan was obtained by Amy DeGroodt of Excelsior, Minnesota from Mr. Ambler of Honolulu, Hawaii in 1949. The fan is originally from the Fiji Islands in 1934.
