Information from Find-a-Grave: Magloire Robidoux, whose residence was in Nicollet County, MN; when 32 years old enlisted on 12/2/1862 at Oshawa, Nicollet County, MN as a private. On 12/2/1862, he mustered into "K" Co. Minnesota 1st Mounted Rangers (aka Cavalry) and mustered out on 12/10/1863.
Magliore's wife, Madeline, was of mixed French Canadian and Sisseton Dakota heritage. She and her five children were held captive for several weeks during the Dakota Conflict, but escaped.
