Sorte Per is the Danish version of “Old Maid.” This deck dates from the 1950s. Manufactured by Drechsler, a notable Danish publisher of games and cards, often branded as Drechsler Spil or C. Drechsler Papirvarefabrik, active until the 1970s before being sold to Brio.
