Description

Plain weave basket made from tightly woven tan-colored round reeds. The basket starts with a circular base that widens as it moves towards the rim; about halfway is a decorative band of weaving wherein two weavers are woven together, resulting in a more open weave. At the rim, two round reeds have been curved and attatched to the other side then lashed together at the center to form a fixed handle.
