Description
Oval-shaped plain weave picnic basket made from tightly woven tan flat-reeds. At the center-top is a rigid ‘D’ handle made from similar material. Two double woven flat lids are present on either side.
This basket was brought to Minneapolis from Germany by one of the donor's parents in 1863.
