For the first time in history, members of Glenwood Boy Scout Troop No. 423 sold home grown Norway pines for Christmas trees at their lot which opened this week. The trees were a product of a tree lot on the Fred Zwiefel farm northwest of Glenwood. Working Sunday afternoon, Scouts and their leaders cut and hauled to their lot more than 250 trees. Pictured: Scoutmaster Vic Johnson holds a tree while John Hanson and Billy Lee apply the saws, while working on the second tree are Grant Eastburg, Robert Hagen and Larry Stumpf.
