The first service awards to be presented by Assembly Homes, Inc. of Glenwood were handed out during ceremonies at Challenge Chapel in Sedan. In the above picture, the Rev. L. D. Kramer, president of Assembly Homes, hands out the first five-year service pins to Frances Bentrud and Annie Miles, both of Glenwood. From now on, Assembly Homes will automatically award veteran employees service pins as they reach the 5, 10 and 15-year levels of employment with Assembly Homes. Both Miss Bentrud and Mrs. Miles are employed at the Lakeview Nursing Home in Glenwood.
