Account book from H. Holmquist Dry Goods and Groceries for Mr. B. Cookin. Lists items purchased on account and account payments for 1911 and 1912. Brown softcover has the illustration of an old-fashioned store counter and text “Always Bring This Book” “Dry good, and Groceries, Hardware, Crockery, Hats & Caps, Boots & Shoes, Clothing, Fancy Goods, Notions, &c.” Pages show that Holmquist purchased eggs and other items from B. Cookin, who then purchased groceries from Holmquist in exchange. This was not a Bloomington, MN store but is an interesting look into what prices were at that time.
