2017.051.001   Paul Fischer joined the AAC in 1939 and served in the AF through the end of the war. All his service during WWII was stateside in Hawaii and Texas. He was a flight engineer and crew chief for General Newton Longfellow. He was called up again in 1947 and served 1 year in Germany flying supply routes.
