Description
People driving by Lake Minnewaska at the city park Sunday morning must have rubbed their eyes to see this 1960 Ford in the lake, with all but its top submerged. Even more surprised was the owner of the car, Joe A. Wersinger of rural Starbuck, who had parked it by the ballroom Saturday night while he attended the dance. City police believe it was pushed into the lake by pranksters late Saturday night while the dance was on. City employees pulled the car out of the lake Sunday morning and it was returned to Starbuck.
