Members of the Pleasant Hill Troopers 4-H club pose in front of approximately 75 used Christmas trees collected by members and adult leaders. The 4-H'ers used the trees to construct two A-frame shelters for pheasants this winter. The Pleasant Hill Troopers are the top 4-H club in the county in the matter of conservation, winning a plaque for conservation last year and threatening to do it again this year. Every member has conservation as a project and they've constructed numerous bird houses, feeders and other items to help their feathered friends. Adult leaders of the club include Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Finstad and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Chalenburg, with Mr. and Mrs. Knute Rosten as alternate leaders.
