Documents from the Lynd Post Office.  Included are: 1.) Two bundles of envelopes addressed to Postmaster, Lynd, Mn.  from the St. Paul Post Office from the 1930's.  2.) Time record book used by Bessie Roloff to record her hours when she worked at the Lynd post office.  July, 1953 - July 1956. 3.)  PO Box Rent Receipt Book  from Sept 1958 - Dec. 1959   4.)  21 quarterly report from he Lynd Post Office, 1881 - 1883.  5.)  4 C.O.D. receipts from 1938.  6.)  Two envelopes with receipts for dutiable package, 1943.  7.)  Timecards for Alfred Roloff for work he did for the Lynd Post Office  1940 - 1944.  8.) Tag for C.O.D. parcels sent to Lynd, Dec. 27, 1939 and July 11, 1941.  9.)  Postmaster Record of Special Delivery Mail1948 - 1954  10.) 19 Postal Bulletins, from spring/summer, 1959.  11.) Rural carrier trip reports for Do McLaughlin, 1957 - 1959.  12.)  Two receipts from the Lynd post office for PO Box 112, rented by Dennis Schroeder, July 2001 and July 2002.  13.) USPS Receipt for Service, Feb. 4, 2020.  14.) Oath of Office for postal employee John Sharrott  12 November, 1936  15.) Letter to the Lynd postmaster regarding an employees retirement date.  16.)  Post office regulation dated Aug. 1, 1879  17.) Eight Invoices of adjusted service bonds sent to Central Accounting Office, dated from Sept.21 - Oct. 17, 1936. The items were originally donated by Hardin Kindler, who was postmaster in Lynd for many years.
