State of Minnesota County of Scott
THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, To the Sheriff of the County of Scott:
Whereas, in the above entitled action an application has been duly made to the proper officer for a Writ of Attachment against the property of Peter Caspers defendant therein, setting forth by affidavit that a cause of action exists against such defendant, and specifying the amount of claim and the ground thereof; and that the defendant Peter Caspers has assigned and displaced his property with the intent to delay and defraud his creditors and that he is about to design and dispose of his property with intent to delay and defraud his creditors and especially this plaintiff and the bond required by law has been fully executed and filed, and said Writ allowed and directed to issue by said officer.
Therefore, You are hereby commanded and required to attach and safely keep all the property of said Peter Caspers within your County, and not exempt from execution, or so much thereof as may be sufficient to satisfy the said plaintiff's demand which amounts to the sum of one hundred and seventy Dollars and Interest on $20.00 there of ffrom Nov. 27, 1893 at seven per cent per annual and an $150.00 there of from July 16, 1879 at 8 percent per annual as appears by the complaint in said action, together with costs and expenses, and that you proceed as appears by the complaint in said action, together with costs and expenses, and that you proceed herein in the manner required of you by law.
Witness, the Honorable Francis Cadwell Judge of District Court aforesaid, at Shakopee this 26th day of August A.D. 1897

I hereby certify and return that by virtue of the within Writ of Attachment, I have on this 27th day of August A.D. 1897, at the Town of New Market in said County, levied on all the rights, title and interest of the within named defendant Peter Caspers in and to the following described Personal property, to-wit: 9 stacks of Wheat, and t sacks of Oats situated and standing on the following described real estate, The north half of the South west quarter and the north half of the South east quarter of Section five (5) Township one hundred and thirteen (113) Range twenty one (21) all in Scott Co. Minnesota, also one black horse 15 years old named Frank and one grey mare 3 years old named Kate
