PZ: This is an interview with Bill Amyotte at his home at Grand Portage. Pat Zankman interviewing. Transcribed by Amy Moe
PZ: Umm, I am really happy that you are willing to talk to me about this. Umm let's go back a little bit and talk about your family. Let's start with that.
BA: Well, my dad was Alfred Amyotte my mother was Barbara Scott Amyotte. And uh I was born in 1922, May 28th, 1922.
PZ: You've got a birthday coming up!
BA: Yeah, Monday. And I was born at Colvill. In the township of Colvill.
PZ: At home.
BA: Yes. I was born at home and the house I was born in burnt down. Then dad built a stone house that is still there it's called Kiti Tavo.
