Videotape, Phyllis Messenger from the Institute for Minnesota Archaeology; February 18, 1995; Presented by Westonka Historical Society (WHS); "Archaeology in the Lake Minnetonka Area". Phyllis presents the prehistory of Lake Minnetonka and its burial mounds. The St. John's Church reconstruction effort was discussed during Phyllis' presentation, which unveiled the possible damage to the churches neighboring Native American burial mound. After this meeting, WHS contacted the newly formed State Archaeologist's Office, which  resulted in protection of this mound, of which few are remaining.
