Description
Gold pinback button with purple rim and purple text: PURPLE POWER.  Promoting the Minnesota Vikings football team.  The slogan was part of a large promotion by the St. Paul Pioneer Press in 1989.  This button was not part of that promotion since it doesn't refer to the newspaper.  It likely made before 1989.  Gold and purple were the team colors.
