Description
Neighboring farmers gathered at the Billy Olson farm in Barsness township to aid in a haying bee. About 20 men baled 20 acres of hay in a short afternoon. Helping in the baling and stacking were Arnie Moe, James Moe, Roy Moe, Lanny Barsness, Ray Barsness, Alder Schlief, Roger Anderson, John Freeman, Gerhard Swenson, Carl Olson, Jerome Gerve, Dave Reep, Bruce Sherlin, Dale Ogdahl, Chester Krogstad, Bill Olson, Jerry Olson and David Brown. Lunch was served by neighboring housewives, and the Glenwood Jaycees later unloaded the bales stacked on the wagons.
