Black silk shawl with floral pattern all over. Fringed. Donated by Mrs. Ward C. Burton in 1965. Belonged to donor's great grandmother, Tamar Goddard, mother of S. C. Gale, an early settler in Minneapolis. The writing on the shawl is mother's, Mrs Clarkson Lindley's handwriting.
