Description

This elaborate shawl has trapunto and couched embroidery all over in a flower and leaf pattern. The neck edge has 6" wide lace, of which 3" hangs down the back and there is a 1" black beaded band right at the edge with 2" of lace at the neck. There is 6" knotted fringe on the other edge. Donated by Mrs. Henry A. Schroeder of Minneapolis in June 1954.
