Description
Brisk winds caused many false starts and delays in competition during het annual water-skiing competition on Lake Minnewaska during Saturday's Glenwood Waterama schedule. However, five winners emerged in the six events as competitions took nearly six hours to complete. Linda Engstrom of Alexandria was a double winner, capturing first places in both the women's slalom and trick events. Other first-place finishers included Rick Hanson, Battle Lake, men's slalom; Bruce Arntson, Battle Lake, boys' trick; Kim Thompson, men's trick; and Beaver Rolfson, boys' slalom.
