Description

WW 2 Blue star service banner. Peach colored satin with a central white panel that has 3 blue stars “In the service” and handwritten in black ink “Fred, Lester, Paul Johnson”. Mounted on a wooden dowel with gold painted finials on the ends and a gold braided string. Was used to put in the window of a home to indicate members of the family were in the service. Hung in the window of the Ada and Walter Johnson home.
