Description
Pair of hand-made wood and leather snowshoes. Marking on the side reads 1868. The pink card reads: "These snow shoes were made by George Christilaw, son of William Christilaw Sr., in 1868 at their home on the Christilaw farm in Reno Township. George was them a boy of 14 or 15 years. He came from Canada with his parents in October 1865."
