Description
Sweater - Woman's gray green wool hand knit vest. It is sleeveless and pull over, part of nurse's uniform. It was worn by Barbara Thompson as a nurse in World War 1.
The main body of the vest is worked in stockinette stitch with a long section of 2 x 3 ribbing at the bottom. The neck and armholes are done in garter stitch.
