Description
Wooden maul, the maul part is a chunk of oak wood roughly adzed into a cylindrical form 13 inches high and 19 inches around, and pounded into iron rings at each end. Handle, 34 inches long, is of oak and inserted at an angle for better leverage. It is heavy! Used for pounding fence posts. Found on the Hans Durham place, now the Mostad place. (1968)
