Description

"This is a hand made wool rug 30 x 54 inches, done in needlepoint. It has a green background with four flower designs in each four corners in shades of tan, brown and red. The center is an oval design with a colorful flower center with tan background and four smaller oval designs in green colors predominating with red and brown background. There is a 5 inch heavy wool fringe around the entire rug. Edges are bound on back side with cotton fabric. This rug was made by Mrs. Marie Koefod (Kruetz), who was Mrs. Martin Clements' Mother."
