Description

Premium plate. "A 9" white china plate. It has a scalloped edge with a fine design on it. In the center is the message, "Compliments of P.O. Lee, Cyrus, Minn." Forming a rectangle around this is a gold colored frame of holly leaves and berries. The outside of the plate bears the calendar of 1910. The months are arranged in 4 half circle groupings of 3 months each inside of which is a scene appropriate to the season of the months that surround it. Each monthly calendar is edged with fruits or flowers of that month. The marking on the back reads, "Homer Laughlin, Hudson."
Plates such as this were given to good customers of the store at Christmas by P.O. Lee."
