Description
Bank teller cage from Pope County State Bank. The bank was built in 1906. These were installed as part of the original decor. It is heavy oak with wrought iron decoration on the top of the sides and etched glass panels at the bottom. The top glass panel is missing and would have identified the window as cashier or teller. The left hand column is missing part of the base. There is a photograph of the original interior of the bank in the 2001 Calendar in the Eagle Bank file.
