Description
"Caster is silver plated. In total it stands 14" high with a 4.5" base and an 8.5" handle. The platform that the bottles rest in is 7" in diameter. There are four holes 2" in diameter for the bottles. Flower and leaves engraved below each hole decorate the caster. The handle is ornately decorated and raised in a single column to a handle shaped like the outline of a tulip. The 3 bottles (one is missing) fit into the holes in the platform. One of the bottles is 5" high, and the other 2 are 9" tall. All bottles have etching on them. This caster was given to Mrs. Lee and used in 1890. Vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper was put in the bottles and placed on the table." Originally used by the Riches of Montecello.

Stamp on the bottom reads: "Warranted Trebleplate Albany New York 99"
