Description
This wooden framed contact printer has a glass front, felt padded backing and brass latches on the back. The opening is 5 x 7 inches. It was used for making photographic prints. The large (usually glass) negative was placed under the glass and the light sensitive paper was underneath. It was then exposed to light (either sunlight or artificial light) to make the print.Related People and Organizations
