"White, hand embroidered in hardanger work, 21" square, the piece of white cloth has a 4.5 inch border, beautifully done to the little picots within the lattice work and thread design within each middle square.
This lovely art was from Norway and brought over with the skills of the settlers. This came along when times were easier and women could take some articel to work on, to Ladie's Aids, and enjoy other women's company and admire thier stitchery too."
