Description
Bowl. This short, squat bowl measures 3 1/2 inches high by 4 inches in diameter. It is of reddish brown clay, rough on the outside and glazed smooth on the inside. An example of Pueblo pottery, this bowl was used as a storage bowl. It was given to me on September 3, 1940, by Mrs. Stewart of the El Plate Ambrosos, a famous Spanish eating place in Santa Fe, New Mexico.Dimensions noted at right: 03/31/05
