Description
This beige linen sampler was made by Ruth Wilson who was W.R. Moses's grandmother. It is 8.25" high and 7.5 inches wide. Its border is a cross stitch done in purple yarn. The first two lines have the capital letters A-Z. The next line has the numbers 1-0. The next line and a half has the small letters a-z, and then to finish the second line there is the date 1853. The next line has Ruth Wilson and REACH. The bottom has a picture design. The colors of the sampler are red, gold, pink, green , blue, purple, and beige.
