The State of Minnesota.
To All to Whom These Presents Shall Come - Greeting:
Whereas, By an act of the Congress of the United States approved February 26th, 1857, entitled "An Act to enable the people of Minnesota Territory to form a Constitution and State Government, and for the admission of such State into the Union," the sections numbered sixteen and thirty-six in every township of the Public Lands of this State were granted to the said State of Minnesota, for the Use of Schools; and Whereas, by the Constitution of this State, such sixteenth and thirty-sixth sections were accepted for such use; and Whereas, it appears by the reports and records of the State Auditor, that full payment was made by Heirs at Law of the Estate of Ole Svenning and Karine Svenning deceased except Annie Larson nee Svenning on the First day of October A.D. 1919, according to the provisions of law, for the following described tract of land, a part of the lands so granted, to-wit:
The South West quarter of the South West quarter and the North East Quarter of the SouthWest quarter
of Section No. thirty-two in Township No. One hundred twenty six North, of Range No. Thirty-eight West of the Fifth Principal meridian, containing
eighty acres, more or less, according to Government survey, and situated in the County of Pope and State of Minnesota, according to the official plats of the surveys of the said lands, on file in the State Auditor's Office, as provided by law, which said tract has been purchased in pursuance of law by the said Heirs at Law except Annie Larson nee Svenning..
Now Know Ye, that the State of Minnesota, in consideration of the premises, and in conformity with the several acts of the Legislature of the State of minnesota, in such case made and provided, has Bargained, Sold, Granted and Conveyed, and by thee presents does Bargain, Sell, Grant and Convey, unto the said heirs at Law viz: Carl Svenning, Mary Svenning, Olga Svenning, Arnie Svenning, Walter Svenning, Ruth Svenning, Arthur Svenning and Olaf Svenning, an undivided one ninth (1/9) and to Martin Svenning an undivided two ninths (2/9) of the above described land
and to their heirs and assigns, the said tract above described reserving to the State of Minnesota all mineral and mineral rights in said Lands as provided by Sec. 2483, Chap. 40 of the Revised Laws of 1905.
To Have and to Hold the Same, together with all the Rights, Privileges, Immunities and Appurtenances, of whatsoever nature thereunto belonging unto the said
Heirs at Law in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Final Decrees of the Estates of Ole Svenning and Karine Svenning deceased except Annie Larson nee Svenning
and to their heirs and assigns forever.
InTestimony Whereof, I, J.A.A. Burnquist, Governor of the State of Minnesota, have caused these letters to be made patent and the Seal of the said State to be affixed thereto, in the City of St. Paul, this Eighteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and Nineteen and of the State the sixty-second.
