Description
"Driving mitts, brown horsehide, measuring 16.5 inches. They are evidently locally made as they have no brand name. They are well made and neatly sewn. The inner lining for the hand is a gray blanket material. There is a 1.5 inch width of wool around the wrist. The upper part is inner lined and lined with black sateen. The upper part of the mitt measures 20" around, allowing ample room for the introduction of the sleeve of a fur coat into the mitt. Small hole in one thumb.
