Description
A quadruple plated silver spoon holder with 2 fancy raised silver ornamented handles and narrow irregular scalloped top edge, giving a traditional effect. It has a fancy ornamented engraving between the handles; inside one design is engraved "Dec. 25th 1899" the base and top are 2.75" in diameter with the body slightly narrower. It is 3.5" high. This article was a silver anniversary gift presented to Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Thompson by their friends in Enderlin, ND where they were residents for the years 1891-1906. They resided in Glenwood from 1906-1934.The mark on the bottom reads: "Quadruple plate warranted - Aurora S.P. Gab. Co. - 0282"
