Description

Communion chalice. Part of a set of a chalice and pitcher that was used in the Zion Episcopal Church near Lake Ann in Reno Township. Lake Ann Cemetery is now where the church once stood. The set was made by Simpson, Hall, Miller and Company, and has a quadruple silver plating. The cup is 7 inches high with a cup opening 3 inches in diameter. The base is also 3 inches in diameter. Between the base and goblet is a narrow stem 1.5 inches long. Engraved on the front of the cup is "Zion. In Memorium of Mrs. C.E. Schaaper."
